Gift Aid

Every donation you make to The Gynaecological Cancer Fund, whatever its value, could be worth more to us at no extra cost to you if you elect to claim Gift Aid. If you fill in the appropriate Gift Aid Declaration we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you give. For example, if you donate £10 we will receive £12.50, or if you donate £100 we can get £125. We receive the extra 25% by applying to HMRC for a Gift Aid reclaim. The Gift Aid scheme only applies to UK resident tax payers.

We can claim back the tax on a donation of any amount that has been made to us in the last four years. It does not matter whether you make a one off donation or if you are making regular donations to us. By signing a single Gift Aid Declaration you can cover all future donations while you remain a UK tax payer. Even if you are not an employee you are still eligible for Gift Aid if you pay tax on any of the following asset classes:

  • Personal or occupational pension
  • Stocks and shares
  • Bank and building society savings accounts
  • Rental income
  • Overseas and UK investment dividends

Please fill out our Gift Aid Declaration, send it to us and we can use it to cover all the donations you have made in the past four years as well as any future donations.
